SA belt and buckle

SA belt and buckle (Koppelschloß). The SA, 'Sturmabteilung' (Storm-troops), were originally formed in August of 1921 as a protective guard unit for the political leaders of the fledgling Nazi Party. Buckle shows the political-style national eagle clutching the laurel surround to a sunwheel swastika (Sonnenrad). The buckle is unmarked, one of the prongs of the dual bar for the belt's retaining tongue has been broken off. The belt is 114cms long, the tongue has been originally replaced to make the belt a little shorter (see photo) and has been worn that way. Nice looking original belt with buckle in used but nice condition, priced accordingly!

SA koppel en koppelslot (Koppelschloß). De SA,'Sturmabteilung' (storm-troepen), werd oorspronkelijk opgericht in augustus 1921 als een beschermings eenheid van de politieke leiders van de groeiende Nazi Partij. Het koppelslot laat de politieke-stijl nationale adelaar zien welke een krans vasthoud met daarin een zonnewiel swastika (Sonnenrad). Het koppelslot is ongemarkeerd, één van de pootjes om hem mee aan de leren tong van de riem te bevestigen is afgebroken. De koppel is 114cm lang, de tong is origineel destijds verplaatst om de riem iets korter te kunnen maken en zo gedragen, zie foto's. Mooie originele set in gebruikte maar toch erg mooie staat, eerlijk geprijsd!
