Canadian RCAMC Captain's Battledress

Canadian 'Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps' (RCAMC) Captain's Battledress. Battledress was the standard uniform for all Army Personnel, officers and other ranks in the theatres of operations. This Battledress is named to a RCAMC Captain, 'Pollock'. He has bought the jacket from military quartermasters and had it altered (an open collar to show the shirt and tie) for a more elegant look. This is an early produced jacket and nicely marked, the date is hard to read but look like 1942. All the insignia for Captain, printed RCAMC Titles, Canadian Military Headquarters, and service chevrons are original applied! Nice looking hard to find tunic!

De Battledress was het standaard uniform gedragen door alle leger personeel, officieren en overige rangen in de gevechtsgebieden. Deze Battledress is op naam van RCAMC Captain, 'Pollock'. Hij heeft het jasje gekocht bij de militaire fourier (quatermaster) en heeft het aan laten passen (open kraag zodat de stropdas en blouse zichtbaar zijn) voor een meer elegante look. Dit is een vroeg geproduceerd jasje welke mooi is gemarkeerd, de datum is moeilijk te lezen maar lijkt 1942. Alle emblemen, die voor Captain, printed RCAMC Titles, Canadian Military Headquarters, en de dienstjaren chevron zijn origineel  bevestigd! Mooi moeilijk te vinden jasje!
