British Second Pattern Sten Bandolier

British Second Pattern Sten Bandolier. Two patterns of webbing  bandoliers were produced during the war for Sten magazines. Both patterns had seven individual cells that could each accommodate a single magazine. This is the later pattern (second pattern) bandolier which haves a two-inch diameter shoulder strap similar to the wide part on the L-Straps. The bandolier could hang either across the chest like the first pattern or around the waist so it didn't interfere with the basic pouches. Issue of these items was generally limited to paratroopers, commandos and troops in assault formations. Nice bandolier in original blancoed condition. Nicely maker marked and wartime dated with 1941 (or 1944?). Very nice original rare piece of equipment in very good used condition. It should be noted that these Bandoliers are nowaday's almost impossible to find!
