Canadian Black Watch Battledress

Canadian Black Watch Battledress. 'The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada' took part in the Normandy Landing, the battle of the Scheldt and through the Reichswald too Liberate Holland. The Battledress was the standard uniform for all Army Personnel, officers and other ranks in the theatres of operations. This Battledress is produced in Montreal at the 'Hyde Park Clothes Limeted' and is dated 1943. The insignia are original wartime applied and the tunic is in good worn condition. Inside the tunic is a removed name of a lieutenant which could indicate that the tunic has been re-issued during the war for a soldier. It should be noted that finding a Tunic of with all of the insignia (Titles, divisional signs and overseasbar) are original applied is nowadays a rarity.

Note: I have this tunic as a consignment item, you will get the normal 10 day's inspection period, after that it will be considered as being sold and there is no option for returning the item!

'The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada ' nam deel aan de landing in Normandië, de gevechten bij de Schelde en via het Reichswald naar Nederland voor de bevrijding! De Battledress was het standaard uniform gedragen door alle leger personeel, officieren en overige rangen in de gevechtsgebieden. Deze Battledress jas is geproduceerd in Montreal bij 'Hyde Park Clothes Limeted' in Canada in 1943. De emblemen zijn origineel opgenaaid, het jasje verkeerd in een goede gebruikte staat. Binnenin het jasje is een weggehaalde naam van een Lieutenant wat kan aangeven dat het jasje tijdens de oorlog opnieuw is uitgereikt aan een soldaat. Een jasje met origineel opgenaaide emblemen (straatnaam, divisievlakjes en dienstjaren) is vandaag de dag bijna niet meer te vinden!

Ik heb dit jasje in consignatie. U krijgt gewoon de normale 10 dagen inspectie, daarna wordt het item als verkocht beschouwd en vanaf dan is er geen optie meer om het te retourneren!
