Luftschutz Gasmask with Canister

Luftschutz Gasmask with Canister (Gasmaske mit Blechbüchse) with straps and instrution manuals. With the potential use of chemical warfare agents RLB personnel were equipped with a wide variety of assorted civilian and military gasmasks. This is an official Luftschutz Gasmask and is painted in the same dark blue/grey paint as was used on Luftschutz helmets. Retains it original cloth carrying strap. Marked 'DRGM Scheithauer RL1-40/11'. Gasmask is nicely marked with 'Büssing-NAG, the large bus and truck manufacturer. Very nice complete example in great condition!
