Gascape Pouch

Wehrmacht (Luftwaffe ?) gascape pouch (Gasplane Tasche). The shoulder sling of the gas mask was put through two loops at the rear of the pouch, and the pouch was worn on the chest. This method proved not to be very practical. During the war a frequent way of wear was to fasten the pouch around the gas mask canister.

Example in perfect mint condition, with stamp "bpl, 649". BPL is the three digit makerscode of the company "Klepper-Werke" in Rosenheim (Bayerische Alpen). Example in nice grey color, possible for a Luftwaffe display! These pouches are from a recent find!

Wehrmacht (Luftwaffe?) Gasplane Tasche. Het tasje werd op de borst gedragen, de draagriem van de gasmaskerbus door de twee lussen op de achterzijde. Deze manier was niet erg praktisch, daarom werd het tasje vaak door middel van een mantelriem op de gasmaskerbus gebonden.

Exemplaar in perfecte toestand, mooi gestempeld "bpl, 649". BPL is de drielettercode van de firma "Klepper-Werke" in Rosenheim (Bayerische Alpen). Exemplaar in mooie grijze kleur, mooi voor een Luftwaffe display! Deze tasjes zijn afkomstig van een recente vondst!
