KM Artillery EM's Career Sleeve Insignia

Kriegsmarine Artillery EM's Career Sleeve Insignia (Marineartillerie Laufbahnabzeichen für Offiziere). On successful completion of the appropriate training, personnel were issued distinctive career insignia. The insignia is roughly 60mm in diameter on a navy blue wool base with machine embroidered winged artillery shell with flames emanating from the top edge in bright yellow threads. Regulations dictated that the base color of the insignia was to match the color of the uniform it was worn on. Nice example!

Na het succesvol behalen van een training kreeg het personeel het daarvoor bestemde embleem uitgereikt. Het embleem is ongeveer 60mm in diameter en heeft een marine blauwe ondergrond met machinaal geborduurde gevleugelde granaat met vlam bovenop, geborduurd in fel gele draad. Regelgeving gaf aan dat de kleur van het embleem overeen hoorde te komen met het uniform waarop het werd gedragen. Mooi exemplaar!
