Bulgarian Armoured Troops Field Cap

Bulgarian Armoured Troops Field Cap worn only by the soldiers and officers from the Armored Brigade and the motorised infantry. Brown wool construction cap which features fold down side and back panels with two, molded brown bakelite, closure buttons. The back and side panels were designed to be folded down to protect the wearer's ears and neck and the scalloped front section could be secured with the buttons closed under the wearer's chin. The buttons have an embossed design to the front consisting of a flaming bomb above crossed cannons, pinned to the front of the cap is a 'Bulgarian Lion' cap-badge. The light brown rayon lining is well marked with three purple ink stamped rectangles with numbers in them and has a leather head band stitched around the edge. Example in very good condition, only very small moth damage (see photo)!

Bulgaarse Panzertroepen veldpet welke alleen gedragen werd door soldaten en officieren van de Bulgaarse Panzer brigade en door gemotoriseerde infanterie. Bruin wollen constructie, de zijkanten van de pet kunnen naar beneden gevouwen worden voor protectie van de oren, de twee bruine bakelite knoopjes kunnen onder de kin vast gemaakt worden.  De knoopjes tonen een gevlamde bom boven twee kanonnen, boven de knoopjes is een Bulgaarse leeuw gespeld. De lichtbruine rayonnen voering is gestempeld met drie rechthoekige stempels met nummers er in, verder is de binnenzijde voorzien van een leren zweetband. Zeldzaam exemplaar in erg goede staat met slechts heel kleine motschade, zie foto.
